Subject: Sweet AUD!
What a truly great sounding AUD.
One hell of a job on the taping Greg.
I miss being at shows a lot: Being able to hear AUDs like this sure helps though.
Thank you for sharing.
5 stars on the recording.

For a AUD from 78, this one kicks serious ass. A Neumann SM69 mic is a very high quality studio stereo microphone, and into a Nagra half track?!? Definitely worth the DL!

Three little things that make this show spectacular...
One: That one note at the end of the "Shakedown" lead just before the final "bum bum bum..ba bum bada bum" shakes the earth. It's not even a guitar, just this sonic boom
Two: The "Estimated" lead. It's a friggin' anthem. One can imagine ancient Irish warriors racing into battle with the bagpipes playing this tune.
Three: "Eyes" is glorious in it's noodlely splendor. What the hell are those...1/164th notes?
Just my opinion...

agreed...lots of energy here. i wish it was a better recording...or should i say, i wish it was a sbd. however, that could just be personal preference...if you like auds, then you will love this show.
potentially worth the dl just for the shakedown.

this is one of the best shows ive heard in a while. there is so much energy in jerrys solos, and donna gets to sing a song too. stagger lee, shakedown, and estimated prophet are some highlights.
